Volunteering is an important part of the BCS community and vital for many school programs! We have several opportunities throughout the year for parents and families to volunteer their time and skills at school events. We also have ongoing volunteer opportunities for daily school operations, such as in our cafeteria and aftercare classroom.
When students see the adults in their lives volunteering, they learn the importance of sharing their own gifts with others to help their communities thrive.Anyone - paid or volunteer - who has direct contact with minors is required to complete a clearance process before they begin working with students.
This clearance process is outlined on the Diocese of Pittsburgh's website: https://diopitt.org/compliance
Keeping our students safe is our priority. By investing time in completing the clearance process, our volunteers and staff make it their priority, too.
If you have any questions regarding the clearance process, please contact Butler Catholic School’s Safe Environment Coordinator Samantha Beal at: [email protected]
