“Let all that you do be done in love." 1 Corinthians 16:14
Personal and Professional Background
I attended Gannon University, where I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary/Special Education. After graduating, I moved to Maryland to pursue a teaching career. I taught in Prince George’s County Public Schools for six years. After getting married, my husband and I moved back to Pennsylvania to be closer to family. I took some time off to stay home with my children. When I thought about returning to the classroom, I knew I only wanted to teach in a Catholic school.
As a teacher, I believe it is important to have a loving and caring environment where we all support each other. In order to achieve success, I believe parent involvement is vital. We are a community of learners. I believe in using a variety of different teaching strategies and techniques. No two people learn exactly alike. It is important to make sure all students are successful.
What Do You Feel Makes Butler Catholic Special?
I love the community and family base at BCS. I love that God and our faith are our number one priority, and everything else is based on that.
