"The technology you use impresses no one. The experience you create with it is everything." – Sean Gerety
Personal and Professional Background
I began my journey as a certified mechanic, getting my hands dirty and learning the ins and outs of machinery. My skill set took to the skies when I joined the U.S. Army to specialize in helicopter electronics. There, I not only honed my technical expertise but also developed strong leadership qualities. Post-Army life led me to engineering school, where I deepened my understanding of how things work on a theoretical level. Finally, I transitioned into IT, merging my hands-on skills with tech-savvy acumen. This unique blend of experiences has equipped me with a holistic view of technology, from the grease on the gears to the code on the screen.
