STREAM Paper Roller Coaster Team Winners

For their last STREAM project of the school year, sixth through eighth grade students constructed paper roller coasters.  Students had to comply with specific requirements for the project.  Each paper roller coaster had to have: 6 turns, 1 funnel, a height between 30 and 100 cm, a length of 130 cm of track, and a device to catch the marble at the end of the run.  The coaster also had to be structurally sound, neat and creative.  Five student groups met the qualifications, and then students voted on which team created the best coaster.  Congratulations to Team “Drop of Doom” Coaster, who won first place in the Paper Roller Coaster STREAM Challenge Project.  Group members included: Lucas, Rigel, Danny, Bridget, Montana and Aurora.
