St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank

Feed the Hungry. That is one of the seven Corporal Works of Mercy that we try to live by each day. Our students are following that principle, by volunteering at St Vincent de Paul food bank.

Our students and faculty were inspired to “do more” after a very successful food drive before Thanksgiving. Each month the students in a different grade are now spending time at SVDP helping to pack boxes of food items and assisting with the distribution of those food boxes to our neighbors in need. In November our 8th grade students spent time volunteering, and in December our 7th grade students are doing the same. We will be continuing this program each month, with 6th grade planning to volunteer in January.

We are blessed to be able to share our time and intentions with our neighbors, and to do this in support of our community. We invite and encourage all of our friends and families to join in this effort to make sure no man or woman, family or child goes hungry by donating food, time, or monetary support to St. Vincent De Paul food bank, or any of the others in our community. Together we can all make a difference!
