Congratulations to Brodie Martin, BCS GeoBee Champion

Congratulations to 6th grade student Brodie Martin for winning the Butler Catholic School National Geographic GeoBee for students in fourth through eighth grade. Brodie will now advance to the next level of competition that may qualify him to compete at the state level.

The National Geographic GeoBee is an annual competition designed to inspire and reward students’ curiosity about the world. The National Geographic GeoBee includes three levels of competition; school, state, and national. Nearly 10,000 schools across the country conduct a GeoBee and name a school champion. The school champion takes a proctored online qualifying test and the top 100 ranked students in each state qualify to represent their school at the state level competition. State champions then travel to National Geographic headquarters in Washington, D.C., to compete in the national championship. Congratulations to our school champion, Brodie, and best of luck to him in his next round of competition!
