Special Thanks, C.W. Howard Insurance, BCS Community Partner

We are grateful for the support that our Community Partners provide to Butler Catholic School.   We recently sat down with Jocelyn Sinopoli of C.W. Howard Insurance Agency, one of our Silver Level Partners, to learn more about the company and their dedication to Butler Catholic School.

Q: Please tell me about your organization – what your company does, history, etc…?

C.W. Howard Insurance Agency was founded in 1951 in the City of Butler by Clarence W. Howard, great-grandfather of Butler Catholic students, Alice, David and John Sommers.  The Agency’s core values remain the same…dependability, integrity, and trust.  C.W. Howard Agency is an independent Agency representing multiple insurance companies for personal and business needs.

Q: How can our BCS families learn more about your organization?

To learn more about C.W. Howard Insurance Agency, please visit our website at www.howardinsurance.com.  Or, we welcome you to stop in to visit our Butler City or Seven Fields location.

Q: Why do you think Catholic education is so important?

Catholic education has always been valued by Clarence and Leona Howard.  They believed Catholic education provided strong academics and instilled the foundational moral values in children.  Leona attended Catholic schools.  All five of their children attended Catholic elementary and/or Catholic Universities.  This tradition continues through the third and fourth generations.  We believe that children are confronted with many challenges and believe Catholic education is a valuable investment for one’s success in life, both academically and personally.

Q: Why did you decide to become a Butler Catholic School Community Partner?

It seems natural to become a Butler Catholic School Community Partner.  We feel very blessed to have such an outstanding school in our community.  Sister John Ann does a remarkable job leading and guiding the children of Butler Catholic through their formative years.  While the school continues to do incredible things with their limited resources, we know there are many financial needs remaining to continue to modernize the building and strengthen the excellent curriculum.  We also understand the importance of investing in the school to make sure these opportunities are available for generations to come.

Q: What is the best piece of advice you can give to our students?

The best advice we can offer is embrace these formative years of Catholic Education, but don’t let it stop here…be a lifelong learner of your faith.  Your choices do matter.
