PJAS State Competition

Butler Catholic School rose to the occasion once again at the State Competition for PJAS held May 14-16 at Pennsylvania State University main campus.

Seven participants received first awards with one student also receiving a perfect score and the Director’s Award for Physics. In eighth grade, these students were:  Mason Grenci (perfect score and Director’s Award), Andrew VanFossen, Camden Rockcastle, Sean LeMay, John Keelan, Josiah McConnell; in seventh grade, Bridget Feczko received a first award.

Six participants received second awards. In eighth grade, these students were:  Diesel Losch, Robert Lipnichan and Caitlin Peratt; in seventh grade, Lacy Zagurskie, Grace Foehringer and Katie Ravasio received second awards.

Congratulations to all of these students and to their sponsor, Mrs. Jayne Chobot!
