Forensic Team Finals Tournament

Congratulations to the Butler Catholic School Forensics Team on a fantastic season. On March 3rd, the team competed against 21 schools at the Finals Tournament hosted at BCS. Points were totaled for the entire year for each team, including the points earned at Finals. The top 10 teams were recognized. The Butler Catholic Forensic team placed 7th out of 21 teams.  Special congratulations to the 10 students selected to represent BCS at the Finals competition. Eighth graders: Jon Livermore-impromptu-2nd place, Nick Rine- declamation-2nd place, and Shaylee Walls— drama—2nd place; Seventh graders: Savannah Briggs-drama—1st place, Bridget Preston-poetry-2nd place, Cassie Safran-2nd place, Aaron Short-impromptu-1st place; Sixth graders: Montana Geibel—poetry—2nd place, Maddie Gilkey—Prose—3rd Place, Amanda Parkinson-drama-2nd place. One student from each category will be selected to continue onto the All Stars Competition hosted at Butler Catholic School on Saturday, March 17th.
