Coding Robots Thanks to BCS Community Partners

For the last three years Butler Catholic School has participated in a nationwide event entitled Hour of Code. All of the students have had a chance to learn coding through fun computer programs and training videos. This year, thanks to a generous donation from our Community Partners, our students will see their code in action with our new coding robots! Over the last few weeks, our Kindergarten through 5th grade students have been introduced to Dot and Dash robots, and our 6th through 8th grade students have begun working with Ozobots. Special thanks to Mrs. Singleton, BCS Computer teacher, and once again for our Community Partners, Amerikohl, Howard Insurance, Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic and Nextier Bank, for bringing this technology to our students!
