Extra Curricular Activities

Butler Catholic students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that are under the supervision of the school or Athletic Association. These activities are open to all students in various age groups.

Band – Available to students in grades 4th through 8th and takes place within the school day.  A monthly fee is involved.

Students in Grades 4-8 have the opportunity to join the school band. Instrumental music lessons are given. We have 2 Band Concerts and a Spring Choral Concert. Many students participate in the Honors Band as well as the Diocesan All-Star Band for which they must audition.

Athletics – Sports offered are seasonal. All sports teams follow the Diocesan Guidelines for Catholic School Athletic Programs.

In our school, our sports program is an integral part of the school experience. We have competitive teams in the sports of basketball, volleyball, and soccer. A Basketball Madness Night is held for parents and students to enjoy the athletic experience while the annual Sports Banquet is a time for sharing tributes and awards.
