Dear
Parents,
Here
we go again! Welcome
back to our veterans
and welcome aboard
to our new families! We
are so glad that
you are here at Butler
Catholic. We
are looking forward
to a “great
year” of learning,
of growth in wisdom,
age and grace!
Please
continue to keep
Mrs. Spino, our fourth
grade teacher, and
her family in prayer. Regardless
of age, the loss
of a child is an
overwhelming hurt. The
power of prayer brings
strength and comfort. May
the Spino family
feel this power.
Enclosed
please find the yearly
calendar and the
supply list. It
is important that
children are here
in school every day,
on time, in order
to achieve the most
they can.
Homeroom
assignments and the
teacher/staff roster
will be given out
on August 15 in my
office from 9:00
AM – Noon and
5:00 – 6:00
PM. Gym apparel,
writing tablets and
composition books
(Grades 1-3), and
the required assignment
books ($3.50 each
for Grades 1-8) will
be available for
purchase in the Auditorium. The
school supply list
is also posted on
our website. These
supplies can be purchased
at the store of your
choice except where
noted.

help ease into the

Two “big
jobs” were
accomplished this
summer. The
new boiler was installed
and the Auditorium
was air-conditioned. We
discovered that the
air conditioning
unit in the upper
Computer Lab was
inadequate thus causing
our system to shut
down quite frequently. We
are trying to determine
how we can pay for
it to be updated. Those
Steelers tickets
just HAVE TO BE SOLD!! We
still have 50 books
in the Office to
be distributed!! All
2,000 tickets sold
will bring in $40,000,
which would be enough
to pay our share
of the boiler and
part of the Computer
Lab work. Please,
please sell those
tickets! The
drawing for the Pre-Season
Game will take place
this evening. All
ticket stubs and
money are due on
Friday, August 31!! Let’s
make this a SOLD
OUT event!!
On
Saturday morning,
August 25, from 9:00 – 11:00
AM we will be having
our annual “spruce
up the grounds project.” We
are asking for your
help with weeding,
trimming the shrubs,
and cleaning up outside
the school. All
hands are welcome!
May
these last days of
summer vacation be
the best ones yet! May
the days be filled
with memory-making
experiences and the
nights with restful,
energizing slumber. Throughout
each day, may you
feel the loving arms
of our Provident
God surround you,
blessing you with
His unending gifts. God
bless!
Gratefully,
Sister
