2007
Dear
Parents,
Happy
New Year! I
pray that 2007 will
be a year filled
with very special
blessings from our
loving Provident
God. May each
new day be better
than the day before.
Many
thanks for the many
wishes and remembrances
during this Christmas
season. Each
one is greatly appreciated.
Following
are just a few reminders:
- If
you are unable
to fulfill your
Cafeteria/Playground
duty, please call
the Office by 9:00
AM. If you
are willing to
give some time
for this, please
call the Office.
- Butler
Catholic follows
what the Butler
Area School District
does in inclement
weather. Please
listen to WISR
or WBUT radio or
tune in to KDKA
or WPXI TV. There
is a modified schedule
for half-day Kindergarten
and Pre-School.
- Catholic
Schools Week
is from Sunday,
January 28, through
February 3, 2007. The
schedule of activities
for this week will
be sent home next
week.
- Open
House for the
2007-08 Kindergarten
will take place
on Sunday, January
28 from 2:00-3:30
PM. Children
must be 5 years
old on or before
September 1, 2007
to enter Kindergarten. Please
spread the word
to your neighbors,
friends, and relatives
about this. Our
aim is to have
30 students for
our Kindergarten
class. Remember,
we offer both full
day and half-day
sessions. Please
also remember that
the more students
we have, the less
chance of an increase
in tuition.
- Saturdays
are “Basketball
Games” Day. Come
see what the teams
are doing. Check
the calendar and
web page for the
time of the games.
- With
the fluctuating
weather conditions,
germs are having
a field day! Please
remind your child
about proper healthy
hygiene – washing
hands, covering
mouth when coughing,
use of handkerchief/Kleenex,
proper clothing,
etc. Thank
you to all who
call in when their
child is not attending
school that day.
- The
report card period
closes on January
17. You
can check your
child’s grades
on-line whenever
you want.
Thank
you for your cooperation. Remember
to ”talk up” Butler
Catholic to everyone
you
meet. We have
an EXCELLENT school
so let others know
it and invite them
to come and join
us.
May
the days of 2007
be filled with the
best that our Provident
God can give. God
bless.
Gratefully,
Sister
