Dear Parents,
We have a new name!! From today on, the Scrip Program will be known as "B.C. Bucks!" It’s basically a "cash-for-cash" deal. You give us the check, and we give you the equal value in "B. C. Bucks" for the store of your choice.
This program has the potential of earning over $100,000 WITHOUT Mom and Dad spending any EXTRA money. Everyone buys groceries, goes out to eat occasionally, and shops at various stores. At the present time, approximately 20% of our school families participate in the program although ALL families benefit by keeping costs down.
So, to move us to 100% participation, we’re putting this "reminder" into operation. Families spend about $150 a week on groceries. Just think about this. Our families buy their "B. C. Bucks" BEFORE they go shopping, and in a year, we will earn about $55,000 WITHOUT your spending any extra money. In yesterday’s packet, there was a blue order form for grocery "B.C. Bucks." These forms will go home each week. The forms are color coded by the restaurant featured for the upcoming week (i.e. goldenrod is McDonald’s tan is Burger King, etc.) this should make it easier for buying certificates for the "Jeans and Tennies" nights. Just indicate what denominations you want in your "B.C. Bucks," enclose your check for the said amount, and your child will bring them home on Friday. It’s very simple and very easy for full participation. By all of us working together on this, we can have 100% participation. Let’s go for it!!!
Thank you for your cooperation. May our Provident God continue to shower His special blessings upon you.
Gratefully,
Sister John Ann |
