Dear Parents,

Image of Sister John AnnIt’s hard to believe that we are quickly approaching a new month. Thank you for making the first month of school a good experience for all. We do need your help in two areas.

  1. This Saturday, September 27, is electronic pick-up day in Cranberry. We need to have some unusable computer parts transported to the pick-up center. If you can give us some help, please call the office. We’re hoping to move the items around 9:30 a.m.
  2. If your child will not be in school, please call the school office to report them off. A written excuse is still required. With so many parents working, this is a safety factor and protection for our children. Thank you for doing this.

A big "Thank You" goes out to all who participated in the Burger King and McDonald’s Nights. I don’t know the amount we received from McDonald’s but at Burger King, we earned $145. "Nice job for no work!!"

Starting on Wednesday, October 1, Mrs. Joyce Goettler will be available at the school from 4:00-6:00 p.m. for certificate purchases. She’ll be at the desk by the Cafeteria.

On the calendar, you will see parish religion classes for parents of children in certain grades indicated. Because receiving the sacraments is a parish event, parents are to attend the sacrament meetings at their parish. As these dates come to us, we will pass them on to you.

Weekly Masses began again this week. You are welcome to join us for Mass at 1:15. It may be crowded. I just remind you that you still need to sign in, go up to chapel, and after Mass, right back down the stairs. There will be no visiting classrooms. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

As we move into October, may Our Lady Queen of the Rosary always keep us before our Provident God. May you feel the warmth of His all-embracing love surround you and fill you with His wisdom. Be assured of my prayers.

Gratefully,

Sister John Ann
