Dear Parents,
I
would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you.
I am Sister John Ann Mulhern, the new Principal of Butler Catholic
School. I am a member of the Sisters of Divine Providence. It is
with much enthusiasm and excitement that I look forward to being
here with you and your children.
I come to you with 42 years of educational
experience, 28 years being a principal at various schools. I truly
believe that the children are the most important people in the building.
Everything that we - the teachers, staff, administration - do must
help them be the best reflection of the love that Jesus has for
them. Accountability for one's actions, words, and choices is paramount
in achieving this goal. Home and school working together can accomplish
this.
School will begin August 21 - it is a
half day with dismissal at noon. I am usually in school everyday
after the 8:00 am Mass. You can reach me there or at St. Paul's
Convent. Until school begins, may you enjoy these wonderful warm
days of summer. May your children give you some quiet time everyday
as they 'curl up with a good book.' In the midst of all that takes
place in your daily lives, may you feel the warmth of our loving
Provident God enfold you. Know that you are in my daily prayers.
I'm looking forward to meeting you - Mom, Dad and Students.
God Bless!!
Gratefully,
Sister John Ann
