Winter Weather Advisories Information

Butler Catholic School follows the same schedule as Butler Area School District regarding early dismissals, delays, or cancellations due to bad weather.  Please listen to the radio (WISR and WBUT) and/or TV (KDKA, WPXI, and WTAE) for any changes in the schedule for Butler Catholic School. 

Beginning the 2009-2010 school year, the automated school notification system will be in use, please DO NOT call the school. Usually if there is a delay or unexpected early dismissal, the before & after care program is available. However, if the district goes from a delay to a cancellation, then the before & after care program is cancelled. For those in other school districts, follow your home district directions.

NOTE: Through the automated school notification, each person that signs up will automatically receive school announcements regarding delays and closings.

AM Kindergarten Parents

Two-Hour Delay
AM Kindergarten will follow the modified Kindergarten schedule
(10:00 AM start – Stay till End of Regular School Day)

Pre-School Parents

Two-Hour Delay - Full Day
Pre-School will be in session
(10:30 AM start – 2:15 PM dismissal)

Two-Hour Delay - AM
Pre-School will be in session
(10:30 AM start – 12:00 PM dismissal)
