I am so excited to be part of
the Butler Catholic Family. I am a magna cum
laude graduate of Slippery Rock University with
a B.S. in Elementary Education. The education
that I have received along with my various
experiences has helped to prepare me for the
challenging demands and opportunities of the
teaching profession. My goal is to bring energy
and enthusiasm into the classroom to motivate
the children. Teaching preschool enables me to
provide these students with a “head start” in
mastering basic skills. I am challenged to be
creative, nurturing and most of all, patient.
I believe this has helped me meet the
educational, emotional, spiritual, and personal
needs of all students. I not only am dedicated
into shaping and transforming children’s
attitudes about learning I absolutely am
positive that I can help them see a bright
future for themselves. I look forward to the
opportunity to work with the children at Butler
Catholic. I am very excited to share my
knowledge and talents with the children and be a
part of the most important time of their lives.

My elementary education was spent at Butler
Catholic.
Where I attended first through eighth
grade.
After graduation I attended Butler County
Community College, where I earned as associate
degree in Early Childhood Education.
I went on to pursue my Elementary and
Early Childhood Education Certification from
Slippery Rock University.
I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree in
Elementary and Early Childhood Education.
I have been teaching part time at BCS
since 1998. My husband is also a BCS
alumni and my two children currently attend BCS. I am very involved in the community and
fundraising for things that are close to my
heart, like the Winter Wonderland Auction I
co-chaired the last four years.
When I am not involved with projects, I am
spending time with my family and friends.
We enjoy doing things and being together.
I love to cook and garden.
I enjoy jazzercise and the surprises that
each new day brings.
